1. Registration and Purchase
By completing a registration for the Oevaru Conference 2026 and making payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Registration fees are non-refundable once payment is made.
Exceptional requests may be reviewed upon written submission, at the discretion of the organisers.
In the event of cancellation or significant programme changes, available options will be communicated.
Registration Transfers: Paid registrations may be transferred to another individual at no additional cost. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to the Conference Secretariat and include the replacement participant’s details. Transfers are permitted up to 14 days prior to the conference and are subject to Organising Committee approval.
3. Payment
All payments are processed securely through Bank of Maldives (BML) payment gateway. We do not store or have access to your credit card information. Payment card details are handled directly by BML in compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and American Express.
Currency: All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD).
Completion of payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The cardholder is responsible for retaining a copy of the payment receipt for their records.
4. Conference Access and Participation
Registration grants you access to:
- Main conference sessions (keynotes, presentations, panel discussions)
- Selected workshops (as per your registration selection)
- Optional add-ons (as per your registration selection)
- Oevaru branded merchandise
The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the conference program, speakers, schedule, and format as necessary.
5. Code of Conduct
All attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant who violates the code of conduct without refund.
6. Liability and Disclaimer
The National Centre for Mental Health (NCMH) and Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) are not liable for:
- Any personal injury, loss, or damage to property
- Travel or accommodation arrangements
- Technical issues affecting virtual participation
- Changes to the program or schedule
- Cancellation or postponement of the conference due to circumstances beyond our control
7. Intellectual Property
All conference materials, presentations, and content are the intellectual property of the respective presenters and/or NCMH. Recording, reproduction, or distribution of conference content without explicit permission is prohibited.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By registering, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Force Majeure
If the conference is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic, government restrictions, or other force majeure events), registration fees may be refunded in full or in part, or transferred to a rescheduled or future conference, at the discretion of the Organising Committee, after deducting any unrecoverable costs already incurred. No liability is accepted for any additional costs incurred by participants, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or visa expenses.

11. Governing Law
